The first PA Level 1 course took place in 2023 — just like in 2022 — at the Colony Club in Vienna.
The traditional club once again offered ideal conditions for our training: the theory sessions were held directly in the cozy clubhouse, while the practical units took place on the perfectly maintained padel courts of the Colony Club.

A total of 11 participants joined this first Level 1 course and were professionally trained by our Head Coach Octavio. Under top conditions on the three padel courts, Octavio demonstrated how to systematically train 18 different padel strokes. Afterwards, participants had the opportunity to practice the demonstrated exercises in small groups — always supported by Octavio’s direct feedback and corrections.

Each course day began with a theory block where Octavio covered essential topics such as didactics, physics, psychology, training structure, and club management. This theoretical foundation formed the basis for the following practical sessions, where participants learned to embed the training methods into a broader coaching context.

In the weeks following the course, all aspiring coaches had sufficient time to deepen their knowledge, practice intensively, and prepare optimally for the upcoming examination.
